I only use these inks with my Epson r2400 and have never had any issues. Buying the set makes $$$$ sense.
If you want QUALITY archival prints, the stick with epson until someone makes something that is not only compatible but BETTER. Next Continuous ink systems are just as expensive because in the end the hassle the can and will cause will ultimately cost you the consumer MONEY. it only uses 8 inks at a time and you have to switch back and forth from matte/photo ink if you want to print on those two types of paper. You will find that the quality is what you pay for. First if you actually own this printer you will know that it can use 9 types of ink, BUT it can only use 8 at a time. So to Mr./Miss one star rating down there. FINALLY choose a "compatible ink" if you want to.
8 puny cartriges that fit in an envelope ship for $32.00. According to Amazon, the shipping charge is about $9.50 -- and it is deleted since the order is over $25.00. The advertised shipping charge of $7.95 became $32.00 when I ordered from Alaska. I am better off ordering the individual cartriges directly from Amazon.
This product offers 8, but does not identify the missing cartridge. The Stylus R2400 printer uses 9 ink cartridges. Wouldn't it be better if the buyer could know which cartridge he/she needs to have to complete the set.
I use a continuous flow system for my printer from MIS. (Midwest Ink Supply). Epson's ink is great but very expensive. Just Google "MIS".
